How did I do?

screw with the how/see box and it is brilliant. Move how right and see left

I'm totally into this one.

The bottom row is probably the funniest, how Jeep and Landcruiser owners see land rover owners

more better?

Love it. Whats up with the kids dancing around a poll?
![]() 03/09/2015 at 16:28 |

This is accurate except for Series owners. The hillbillyness of a Series outshines all that a Jeep can hope to muster and more, so in that instance the self-image is reflected, in pride.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 16:28 |

What? People who fix their Land Rovers?
![]() 03/09/2015 at 16:29 |

Ah, but you notice, you aren't a land rover owner at that point...you are a series owner.

I prefer "insane primitive low-compression pile of corroded dogshit cultist". Longer, but more panache.

panache is key.

It appears to be a Family Guy reference. The "London Silly Nannies".

Ah, no wonder I didn't get the reference.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 16:54 |

I haven't seen the episode in question, but it was maypole dancing (i.e. English Silliness) + Family Guy art style, so a quick Googling of "maypole family guy" later, and it was exactly what I expected.

Land Rover drivers think Land Cruisers are always being repaired? shouldn't it be the other way 'round?
Edit I was reading it backwards.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 17:01 |

I think you are reading it wrong. The column is the How ____ see" and the Row is the who they see

Yup quickly realized that

I'll be keeping those words. Thanks.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 17:48 |

Hilarious. However, who are the Land Cruiser owners on the far right middle? Just a suburban couple, or somebody specific?

![]() 03/09/2015 at 20:48 |

This is pretty awesome. I typically think of Jeep owners (more like GC owners) as those broken down on the side of the road waiting for a tow. Possibly with rental car stickers on it.
FWIW, I own a 200-series Land Cruiser which sees regular offroad duty.

A family member of mine is a employee of Chrysler whom arranges the necessary needs to put a future vehicle in production. When I asked them what we can expect in the future, they said that near 2018 Jeep will be building a Range Rover competitor called the "Grand Wagoneer" (obviously a revival of the previous Grand Wagoneer) which would be priced up from 60,000. I am surprised word about the project hasn't been released yet, but I can confirm (whether or not you believe me, my statement stands) that this project is in way to production in the future.

I like how Land Cruiser owners only think "Toyota". Even Jeep and Land Rover owners are Toyota people, really, they just don't understand it yet.

Not only did I just lose 30 seconds of my life. But I think a few brain cells went with it. These are not the type of people you want to attach your car brand to. These people are idiots. Doesn't really need to be said though, considering they bought a Camry...

Land Rover owners have no basis for criticizing anyone else. The British car industry collapsed because they made absolute junk. And continued to make execrable junk after British Leyland was bailed out.
for the life of me, I have no idea how Brits can be so fucking arrogant with a straight face. The British Empire died over 100 years ago.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 21:21 |
|
Because the idea of a vehicle dying of anything other than a viking death is foreign to us Toyota owners. Or head gaskets.

As a Land Cruiser owner living in the Land of Rovers and Jeeps, I'm surrounded by hoopties and Power Wheels.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 21:32 |

As a 100 owner, this is definitely true with almost all LC's. But that's because how versatile they are. Extremely capable off-roader, reliable, and still maintains high-end Japanese assembled quality.

![]() 03/09/2015 at 21:45 |

Wait. So Land Rover owners see Land Cruiser owners as.... women who are capable enough to repair a Land Rover?
Am I missing something?

Yup, freaking hero's.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 21:53 |

Vikings rusted away to nothing? Huh, TIL.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 22:11 |

Haha, yeah if I wait for a Bronco owner to pull me out, I'm screwed. They never see dirt. Their pretty boy owners are all cruising to get orange mocha frappuccinos and having gas fights.
All kidding aside, I like the old Broncos and the one club here in Socal maintains the toughest trail here John Bull. I dont put the "Toyota rescue vehicle" sticker on my Jeep as I know the minuet I do, I will have to have my ass saved by one.

That's how my jeep died.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 22:18 |

No, in a blaze of glory. Either rolled by the owner, or set on fire by the modification by the owner. Plus the rust thing was more of a Taco thing, not a 4Runner, Hilux, or Cruiser thing.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 22:19 |

Goddamned Jeeps and their f*cking headlights mounted right in a sedan driver's eye level. Point those things down and to the right (or left if you drive on the wrong side of the road), dammit.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 22:20 |

Too bad they don't make Broncos anymore. :-(

![]() 03/09/2015 at 22:23 |

Ha this is freaking perfect and nailed each one.
I know in our open to any brand off road group this is exactly how we all see the other brands/models.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 23:41 |
|
Have never understood the brand message of making simpleton idiots the type of people you want to attract to your car. I know it is a volume model, but you can tie much more interesting emotions to a car. This + Jan = ridiculous. I work in marketing & advertising and have never understood this. They do seem to be righting the ship, but basically everyone in the car game does better advertising than Toyota.

Tell me, as a whole, are Bronco people ummm... a bit off as a whole? Or is my sample size too small.
We had a '97 full size Bronco on the lot and every phone call inquiry always included 2 things: "You know that they don't make those anymore" and "I don't know why they don't make them anymore"
More than half also included an explanation of "It's nice because you can have a truck when you want it and an SUV the rest of the time" Which never really made sense to me, as I doubt it would be enjoyable to drive after having two scoops of mulch skidloaded into the back.
Please discuss. Thanks.
![]() 03/09/2015 at 23:54 |

But it was beautiful junk! Our junk looks like K-cars and fwd SUVs. Their junk looks like TVRs and Bristols.

I'm pretty sure you're just confirming the original diagram here (and I'll admit to owning a Jeep)
![]() 03/10/2015 at 00:04 |

Yeah, you can pretty much just picture the upper left hand corner of the jeep block... sort of like ultra violet is to blue. Take a jeep and cross it with your friend who won't listen to anything but vintage vinyl .
